Denominazione dei file

Please take note that all files that will be uploaded to your website should have filenames exactly as following :

Filenames must be formed only with letters (from a to z, lowercase or uppercase), numbers and  (if needed) the character  _ (underscore) or a dash -  (the minus sign).

Filenames must NOT contain:

• blank spaces  between words
  • wrong     :  product image 123.jpg  (it’s wrong because contains blank spaces)
  • correct  : product_image_123.jpg or  ProductImage123.jpg or product-image-123.jpg
    • balnk spaces must be removed or replaced with _ (underscore) or dash -

• caratteri speciali or brackets, such as " £ $ % & ^ § ° @ # | ( ) [ ] { }
  • wrong     :  bio product 100%.jpg  (it’s wrong because contains blank spaces and sign %))
  • correct  : bio_product_100.jpg  or bioproduct100.jpg or  bio-product-100.jpg

• accented letters or special characters such as  à è é ì ò ù ç ü ñ â ê î ô û Å Ä Ö ð Ð ß ø Ø
  • wrong     :  ça ira carité butter 2022.jpg (it’s wrong because contains blank spaces and ç and é)
  • correct  : ca_ira_carite_butter_2022.jpg or  CaIraCariteButter2022.jpg  or ca-ira-carite-butter-2022.jpg

• punctuation marks or slashes  ;, :. ! ? ¿/
  • NOTE of course in any filename  there will be one ony point, that one before the file extension !
  • wrong     :  art.123.45 date 21.12.2023.jpg
  • correct  : art_123_45_date_21_12_2023.jpg or  Art123_45_21122023.jpg or art-123-45-date-21-12-2023

The following sample contains all the errors

• • wrong     :  Novità art.1.3.5 100% bio $ 411,50  !!!.jpg
  • correct  : novita_1_3_5_100_bio_USD_411_50.jpg

Please remember : If you’ll not respect the above mentioned rules some file could not be correctly seen/downloaded from your website’s users.

A filenames is made just to let you undersand the content, it must not be the detailed description of the content

The above mentioned rules must be applied  to any kind of file such as images (.jpg .jpeg .png .gif), spreadsheetscolo (.xsl .xslx .ods) text files (.doc .docx .txt .odt) or any other kind of file (.ai.xd.ppt)
